And lo! On the seventh day, didst the Garage Sale continue...

I can't believe what a packrat I am.  I have more stuff than I thought possible.  It's okay, though;  I'm in counseling.  Remember, all prices include shipping within the US!

Board Games

  • Descent: Journeys in the Dark (2nd Edition) -- $40

  • Heroscape:  Rise of the Valkyrie -- $30

This is the basic set, and it doesn't include the box, as I bought it used.  Still, I'm fairly certain all the parts are there.

  • Memoir '44 -- $30

Dice Towers
  • Hirst Arts Gothic Bell Tower - $25  SOLD
I did this one just for the fun of building with Hirst Arts blocks.  The statues in the alcoves are Caesar Miniatures 1/72-scale plastic fantasy minis.

  • Necron-Style Tall Dark Enigmatic Structure Thingy - $25
This is an MDF kit from Brush4Hire, which you're getting for even less than the original kit (when you factor in the free shipping)!  The only modifications required to make it into a workable dice tower were to leave the roof off and add a bar halfway down that causes the dice to tumble.

Garage Sale, Parte ye Sixthe

Have you ever noticed that you can make any word into Old English by just adding an "e" at the end?  Even "olde" looks old.

Anyway, more items have emerged from the dark recesses of my apartment!

  • Classic PC Games -- $15 for the lot
These are older games, but good ones.  If you can run DOSBox or another emulator, you should be able to get these to play.  The lot includes:
  • Warhammer 40,000:  Chaos Gate
  • Epic 40,000:  Final Liberation
  • People's General
  • Battlefield Academy
  • Advanced Tactics World War II
  • Battlefield 2142

15mm Sci-Fi

  • 41 GZG New Israeli Infantry -- $20  SOLD
This lot includes four infantry squads and three power-armor squads (which are actually NSL, I think)

  • 31 Aliens (I believe these are from QRF) -- $20  SOLD
  • 42 GZG Kra'vak Infantry -- $20  SOLD
This lot includes four infantry squads and three power-armor squads.

  • 8 Proxie Models Trencher Tanks and SP Guns -- $20  SOLD

There are five Trencher Mk. 2 tanks and three self-propelled howitzers in this lot.  2 of the Trenchers are assembled, 2 are new in the package, and one is partially assembled.  2 of the SP guns are assembled and one is in progress.  I'll send the sprues and all the extra parts I have.  (Note:  the pics are from Proxie Models' site)

Garage sale, part... whatever means "Five"!

It starts to make sense now, why Anne Heche made up her own space-alien language back when they abducted her brain.  It's easier than remembering things like foreign words for "five".  Anyway, back to the garage sale.

Remember -- US shipping is included!

15mm Sci-Fi

  • 54 Rebel Minis Sahadeen Infantry -- $20  SOLD
These were started and never finished, which about sums up 80% of my projects.  There are 40 riflemen, 4 heavy gunners, 4 antitank rocket launchers, 2 wussy officers with pistols (or maybe heroic medics with pistols), and 4 sniper teams (I found the fourth one after taking the picture).

  • 62 Micropanzer Krystrial Aliens -- $20  SOLD
These are sadly out of print, which really sucks because these are some of the more creative aliens on the market.  This lot includes 18 halberd carriers, 15 double-sword-bearing aliens, 18 riflealiens, 10 cyberhounds, and one overlord guy with a separate head.

  • 39 Kitbashed Space Soviets -- $20  SOLD
This is a platoon of Flames of War Soviet SMG gunners that I used to test out some ideas.  They've been kitted out with protective face shields (some raised, some lowered), hard-shell rucksacks from my Shapeways store, and pack-mounted heavy weapons from my Shapeways store (3 railguns, 3 antitank missiles).  There are also two drone operators -- one fixed-wing, one rotary-wing -- using a Brigade Models fleet-scale space fighter and a 3mm Picoarmor helicopter.  Oh, and there are two unpainted spares.

  • 30 15mm.co.uk HOF Automata Infantry -- $15  SOLD

These are the basic infantry shown below.  Mine were intended to be shiny steel things, so they are unpainted but dipped to bring out the shadows and detail.  The only additional thing they were going to get were red dots in the eyes.  Sadly, I never got that far, so these little guys have only dark eyes.  It's probably all the dairy in their diets.

  • 38 Zombiesmith Aphids -- $20

I've loved these little guys since I first saw them on the Zombiesmith website!  Their equipment has a retro feel that could easily put them in a steampunk setting, as well as future sci-fi.  All they really need is flocking and they'll be ready for the table!  This lot includes 22 riphlemen, 6 photon gunners, 6 phloating hover-sleds, and 4 ophicers.  There!  Are we done with the "ph" thing yet??

Stay tuned, for there shall be more forthcoming!

Garage sale, part fourx!

When last we left our intrepid heroes...

As before, all prices include shipping within the US.  If you're elsewhere, drop me a line (javelin98 AT lycos.com) and we can talk.

  • Federation Commander bundle -- $50  SOLD

This lot includes the Klingon Border and Romulan Border boxed sets, the Federation Commander Reference Rulebook, and some of the earlier printings of my own MicroFleet miniatures.  That's $135 worth of FedComm products!

Board Games

  • OGRE Pocket Edition -- $5  SOLD

This is the Kickstarter bonus edition.  It's exactly the same as the version sold in 1977, but this one is brand-new and unopened.

15mm Sci-Fi

  • Wheeled Desert Vehicles -- $30  SOLD

  • Brigade Models CDSU GEVs -- $35  SOLD

These are the older Brigade designs, which, while they scale well with most "true 15" scale models, are on the small side when compared with most current offerings.  This lot includes 7 Xie Fang APCs, 2 Li Peng assault guns, 1 Xie Fang vertical-launched missile carrier, 2 towed antitank guns, and one M84 Kochte tank which the Chinese probably repossessed from the Americans when all our debt came due.  *sigh*

There are also a slew of extra turrets and some stowage.  Bon appétit!  But, seriously, don't eat these.  I assume they're unhealthy.

  • Sci-Fi Dragoon Anti-Grav Sleds -- $25

I'm quite proud of these.  I designed the control columns myself (and they're available on my Shapeways store -- thanks, Shameless Plug Guy!).  The bases are re-purposed Clix dials with a layer of magnetic paper on top.  The beauty of this is that it allows the gamer to put minis based on steel washers on top and they won't fall off!  Then, when it's time for the dragoons to dismount, you just pop them off.  This lot includes 8 individual grav sleds and 4 team-sized grav sleds (which will generally hold four to five minis based on steel washers).

Garage sale, part trois! Or troix, or whatever. I don't speak French.

  • 6 Old Crow Anti-Grav Vehicles -- $40  SOLD

Here we have 2 Gladius medium grav tanks and 4 Glaive medium APCs.  The flight bases are from GW and are not permanently attached, in case you'd like to do something different.

  • 10 Old Crow Wheeled Vehicles and VTOL -- $60  SOLD
This lot includes 3 Slingshot wheeled AFVs (two with antitank guns (one with a dozer blade (which I made myself and order from Shapeways (no, seriously, I did! (why would I make that up, even?)))) and one with an ATGM turret), 3 Trojan light APCs (with mounted rucksacks from the sadly-defunct Force XXI Miniatures), 2 Goanna scout vehicles, 1 Provider gun-truck (1 of the pintle-mounted MGs in the bed has fallen off but I'll try to find it or a replacement), and 1 Crow VTOL dropship.  The turrets on the Slingshots are all pinned with brass rod, so that they can rotate.  This lot also includes a pick-and-pluck foam tray from ArmyTransport!

Rules and Books

Future War Commander -- $12  SOLD

Alien Squad Leader v1.1 -- $12

There will be much more coming, so stay tuned to this page!

Garage Sale, Part Deux!

All sold!
  • 6 Old Crow Heavy GEV MICVs and MBTs -- $40
There are six vehicles in this lot, primed and painted as in the pics below.  If you know Old Crow Models, you'll know that these are excellent quality castings.  There are two Lancer hover MICVs with antitank guided missile turrets, two Lancers with Vulcan autocannon turrets, and two Sabre main battle tanks.  All turrets are separate from the vehicles, so you can turn them during gameplay, if you choose.

  • 8 BattleMechs -- $16
These are Mechwarrior Clix mechs, 4 Targe and 4 Uziel, which scale pretty well with 15mm minis.  They have had the bases flocked, obviously.

  • 12 DLD Productions Armored Vehicles -- $70
These are great vehicles, which I've been selfishly hoarding for ten years.  This set includes 4 Komodo wheeled APCs with remote machine gun turrets, 2 Bengal tracked main battle tanks, 1 Komodo tactical operations center, 1 custom-made Komodo mortar carrier, 1 custom-made Komodo combat engineer vehicle, 1 custom-made Komodo salvo-missile carrier, and 2 Ealit armed scout cars.  This lot also comes with a pick-and-pluck foam tray from ArmyTransport.

Being a former combat engineer, I couldn't help but replicate the classic "gypsy wagon" look of CEVs everywhere.  This one sports a push blade, excavator boom, augur, ground-penetrating radar for mine clearing, and all sorts of boxes and ammo cans and whatnot.  Here's one of my battalion's vehicles in Korea:

Yes, in case you were wondering, the SLAM missile launcher is the nozzle from a Gillette shaving gel can. I know you were thinking it, so let's just acknowledge it and move on.

More to come!
